The construction site of the new San Benedetto Po bridge does not currently allow safe pedestrian transit.

It is therefore necessary to stop at Bagnolo San Vito and from there take the interurban bus that takes you to San Benedetto in about 15 minutes. The line is 31A of Apam (Mantua-San Benedetto – Quistello).

The most convenient stop for the Via Matildica route is Piazza Diaz which is 300 meters from the intersection of the cycle/pedestrian path along the canal with Via Roma turning left.
